Chihuahua
|
| |
Small and fragile but alert and bold,
these dogs are the world's smallest breed. They are named after the
Mexican state from which it was first exported. One undisputed fact is
that Chihuahuas are the ultimate toy lap dogs. Both the short haired
and more temperature-resistant long haired variety offer humor, comfort
and companionship. Their coats come in many colors and patterns. Grooming is minimal for both coat varieties. Truly a "wash-n-go" dog. These dogs typically weigh 2
to 6 lbs. and stand 6-9" at the shoulders.

Yorkshire Terrier
|
| |
Developed in England around
the mid 1800's, the Yorkie has become one of the more popular
breeds of dogs today. This compact little dog makes a great companion
or anyone who lives in small or large home environments. It has a
silky, long coat which does require regular grooming. The Yorkie makes
a great watchdog and requires little exercise to stay in shape.

Bichon family of dogs, which do not shed. Havanese are
natural companion dogs: gentle and responsive. They become
very attached to their human families and are excellent with
children. Very affectionate and playful with a high degree
of intelligence. These cheerful dogs are very sociable and
